Ingredients
- 4 Chairman's Reserve® Beef Top Loin (Strip) Steaks, 1" thick
- 1/3 cup Blue Cheese Bacon Butter (recipe follows)
Rub:
- 2 TBSP minced garlic
- 2 TBSP chopped fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
Instructions
- Combine rub ingredients; press evenly onto steaks.
- Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals.
- Grill, uncovered, 15 to 18 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning occasionally.
- To serve, top warm steaks with butter mixture.
Blue Cheese Bacon Butter: Combine 1 cup crumbled blue cheese, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, 4 sliced cooked, crumbled bacon, 1 TBSP snipped chives, 2 tsp jalapeño sauce and 1-1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice in medium bowl; mix thoroughly. Makes 1-1/3 cups.
